Dr. Mohamed S. Alhammadi
Dr. Mohamed Alhammadi is a licensed lawyer in the U.A.E. with over 20 years of experience, having obtained his Judicial Certificate from the Judicial Training and Studies Institute in Abu Dhabi in 1998, and subsequently practicing in both the U.A.E. and the U.S.A. Prior to launching Al Nukhbah Law Firm, Dr. Alhammadi worked at the U.A.E. Ministry of Justice/Legislation and Governmental Disputes Department, where he represented the U.A.E. government before the U.A.E. Supreme Court and Appellate Courts, and advised on proposed legislation. Dr. Alhammadi was awarded a Science of Juris Doctor (S.J.D.) degree at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C., the highest degree a lawyer can achieve, and is also a Professor of Criminal Law at UAE University in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
Dr. Alhammadi regularly represents companies and institutions for commercial, corporate, and regulatory issues pertaining to their daily operations. He also advises clients regarding “best practices” for companies in light of the constantly evolving legal landscape in the U.A.E., investment structures in the Gulf, mergers and acquisitions, private placements and related securities matters, investment banking transactions, exit strategy development and implementation, and choices of legal entity (including free zone entity formation).
Dr. Alhammadi leads Al Nukhbah’s U.A.E. litigation and arbitration practice. His case experience includes complex commercial contracts, general business litigation, employment matters, and construction claims.
