Dr. Abdulla Abdulrahman

Dr. Al Khatib is an assistant professor of Law at the U.A.E University. He received his Ph.D. in Law from Tulane University, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. in 2010. After graduating from the U.A.E. University in 2000, he worked as a paralegal in a private local law firm in Dubai where he field various cases at the courts and wrote numerous legal memorandum.
In 2001, he was appointed as a teaching assistant at the U.A.E. and went to the U.S.A. to continue his studies in the field civil procedures. In 2003, he earned his LLM from Tulane New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. From 2003-2005, he taught several courses in the U.A.E. University. In 2006, he went back to U.S.A. to earn a PhD degree in law which he completed it in 2010. In 2010, Dr. Al Khatib worked as an assistant professor in the College of Law, U.A.E. University. He participated in establishing the legal Clinic in the college. He is an active member in many committees in the U.A.E. University. Since 2013, he was appointed as the Assistant Dean for Professional Development.
