Prof. Jasim Al Shamsi is a former dean of the college of law at UAE University and an international arbitrator. He has over 25 years’ experience in law, and specializes in corporate and commercial Law, criminal, civil and commercial cases, and Islamic finance. He is licensed to appear before the Emirate level and the Federal Courts (Court of First Instance, Appeal Court, Court of Cassation and the Supreme Court) He is a member of Shari’ah boards in various Islamic banks in the UAE.
